This project is located in the Xinxing Industrial Park of Yongning District, Nanning City, with its main products being raw materials for power battery foil used in new energy vehicles, including power battery casings and strip foils. It is a key industrial project aimed at establishing a 100 billion yuan aluminum-based new materials processing cluster in Nanning and strengthening the aluminum industry cluster.
COENG has supported Guochao Aluminum Industry in successfully rolling out the first products from the 1850mm hot strip mill for the annual production project of 200,000 tons of new energy battery aluminum foil, followed by the first 1850mm cold-rolled products. This marks a new journey for Hewei Electric in the non-ferrous metal industry, embarking on a new "aluminum" path.
In the face of tight project timelines and heavy delivery and commissioning tasks, COENG strictly monitored delivery milestones and developed a reverse schedule to ensure successful delivery. During the project commissioning phase, experienced and professional engineers were dispatched to the site to assist with the commissioning work, completing on-site tasks with high quality.
A total of over 300 devices from COENG, including the HV350 series general-purpose frequency inverters, HV500 series engineering single-drive frequency inverters, and HD2000 series engineering multi-drive frequency inverters, were successfully put into operation at once. These devices are stably utilized in the main and auxiliary drive systems of the 1850mm hot strip mill, the 1850mm twin-frame cold strip mill, and the 1850mm air cushion continuous heat treatment furnace production lines for Guochao Aluminum Industry's annual production project of 200,000 tons of new energy battery aluminum foil raw materials. This provides critical support for producing hot-rolled and cold-rolled aluminum plate products with high surface quality, high formability, high strength, and high connectivity performance, significantly enhancing the production efficiency and energy utilization rate of the aluminum rolling production line.
